On Tuesday, July 1st, Robin Thicke will release Paula without much lead-up promotion. We've seen the raw, emotional video for "Get Her Back," heard a snippet of a song called "Lock The Door" and now here's "You're My Fantasy," another track that fails to stray from the album's "win back Paula Patton" mission.
This time, Thicke croons over faux-Latin vibes, with a bongo-aided lightly grooving beat accompanied by flamenco-style guitar, piano and electric bass. Unlike "Get Her Back," the relatively bare-bones song grows as time goes on, adding in choirs and more layered instrumental parts towards the end of the track.
Quotable Lyrics:
I don't know how you do it
Workin' the way you are
Tryin' to be a mother,
Earner, lady and a star
