While Mick Jenkins is keeping The Water[s] tightly under lock and key, he feeds the fans today with a collaboration with Supa Bwe, "Treat Me (Caucasian)".
Although the Chicago native has been pretty stingy with the leaks off The Water[s], he's still dropping off music in one way or another. The other week we received a big Closed Sessions collabo from Mick, "Realer Than Most," and today he returns with some more substance and food for thought. "Treat Me (Caucasian)", if you couldn't tell from the artwork alone, deals with unfair prejudices based on race.
The song will appear on the upcoming Hurt Everbody EP.
Quotable Lyrics
Fuck my appearance, up that security clearance
Walk past security they condescend it's apparent
All of these people are parrots
Treat me Caucasian
Come off that privilege, my nigga I need connections at Yale
