Keyshia Cole is set to file for divorce from her husband Daniel Gibson any day now and, apparently, she's got someone else on her mind; only it's not the person you'd think. The debut single from her upcoming LP, Point of No Return, "She" finds Cole singing lustfully after a woman that caught her eye. For his part, DJ Mustard provides a synth-driven, EDM-inspired instrumental that's surprisingly crowded for the typically minimalist beatsmith.
Point of No Return is slated to drop later this summer and feature collaborations with R. Kelly, 2 Chainz, Future, Birdman, Wale, Mike WiLL Made It, RedOne and Juicy J. She'll also be kicking off the nationwide "Point of No Return" tour on July 12 in Rochester, NY.
Is "Her" the single that Cole needs to find her way back to the top of R&B? Share your thoughts below and stay tuned to HNHH as we follow the album's rollout.
Quotable Lyrics:
Down to try something different
Lips and legs, soft skin so feminine
Curves like me, covered in my cherry scent
