NameBrand is an MC from Long Beach, California, who just signed a deal with Epic Records. He will release his mixtape The G.R.E.A.T. (Getting Ready to End All Troubles) 2 in August, and on there will be "Suicide City," which NameBrand has shared with us ahead of the release.
Produced by former Busta Rhymes, Dr. Dre and Lil Wayne collaborator Seige Monstracity, the track provides a scorched-earth backdrop for NameBrand's dark tales of urban violence. Suicide City, it seems, is populated by goons and goblins, "color-coated mobsters" and "pills and the mollies," and NameBrand's out here to paint us a picture of all of them, vibrantly describing his hometown.
