The third of our Heatseekers this weekend, Yung We$t, hails from L.A., a fact that his song "Bang Out" reveals almost immediately. A piano-led track, it also incorporates G-funk synths and an electric guitar -- perfect for those lowrider cruises through South Central.
With a voice that's somewhere between fellow L.A. residents Problem and Cypress Hill's B-Real, Yung We$t has no trouble murdering the beat.
"Bang Out" has placed the rapper among this week's final four Heatseekers. If you like to have your song or video featured on the site, you can submit content to us here.
Stay tuned for four more Heatseekers next weekend.
Quotable Lyrics:
Real kill off on your riders, tryin' to be a godfather, head nigga, top mobster
To provide the whole set, 'cause there ain't that many left
Yeah I started from the gutter, so I feel I'm on my shit
Rap dreams turn to rap kings committed to the throne
