Bleacher Report has teamed up with Nike and Craig Sager to create 100 wild Air Force 1s, similar to the 1-of-1 pair that DJ Khaled debuted back in August, which will be sold at auction starting tomorrow to help those battling Leukemia.
Through NikeiD, Sager himself helped design these unique Air Force 1s, which are a nod to his iconic and head-turning style that has graced NBA sidelines for over 20 years. Bidding on these AF1s will open up tomorrow, October 25th and the auction will wrap up on November 4th.
Per Bleacher Report:
"The auction will begin Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. ET—during pregame of the season-starting contest between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers—and conclude Friday, Nov. 4. The shoes will be custom-made in the auction winners' designated sizes at the close of the auction."
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Sager Strong Foundation for cancer research and education.
Additionally, two separate t-shirts in honor of Sager have been unveiled, one of which will be presented during TNT’s NBA studio show and will be available through SagerStrongFoundation.org. The other Sager shirt, presented by City National Bank, will be given out to all fans attending Spurs vs. Warriors at Oracle Arena on opening night.
