It's been close to a year since Joey Bada$$ released his sophomore mixtape, Summer Knights, but it seems there are still some outtakes from the sessions we haven't heard yet.
"So High" was apparently recorded around the time the tape was being together, but was only given a proper release today, as Pro Era in-house producer let go of the record on his Soundcloud, writing, "A track Joey and I recorded during the "Summer Knights" recording sessions that never made the light of day till now...".
We're still waiting on the debut album from Joey, B4.D4.$$, though it's not too clear how soon we'll hear it. Until then, enjoy this record.
Quotable Lyrics:
Who you know better?
Never lost my groove
I don't know no Stella
It's a cold world without Coachella
A shady bunch, like under Interscope umbrella
But that don't phase me once
People say I'm crazy blunt
Call me young Evil, 'cause I crazy stunt
