Kent Money gave us the menacing posse cut, "Home Alone" earlier this year, and today he returns with yet another new record, once again working with HS87 leader Hit-Boy.
"State Of Emergency" is built off a frantically ascending and descending string sample, providing a tense backdrop for Kent's multi-syllabic, mean-mugged delivery. The song proves the rapper as yet another exciting voice coming out of HS87's eclectic and experimental roster.
The record will appear Kent's upcoming Crown project, which is slated for a summer release.
Kent Money can also be heard on the recent HS87 compilation, We The Plug, which can be streamed in its entirety here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Olympic shit
Flip it, and we out before your sneakers fall
Streets involved
They don't say a word if ever people call
Boastin' as I toast
It ain't a promise I'mma see tomorrow
