When 9th Wonder co-signs an up-and-comer, hip-hop heads should probably listen. Straight out of California, the Little Brother producer's latest signee GQ is prepping his new project Rated Oakland for an official drop on June 24. Off that tape comes "Count'em Up," a new single produced by his label head and featuring some top-notch lyrical work from Nipsey Hussle and Littles Brother's own Rapper Big Pooh.
Like what you're hearing? GQ is incredibly difficult to find on Google (apparently there's a magazine with the same name that's kind of a big deal), so make life easy on yourself and follow GQ on Twitter right here. Expect more from the rapper to appear on our pages in the future.
Are you feeling "Count'em Up"?
Quotable Lyrics:
Get in an elevator with a white woman, she frightened
As I stand with a smile on my face
She got a hand in her purse, ready to introduce mace
While you over there looking at me
I'm looking at buying a place so count 'em up
