"Devotion (I Am Somebody)" is the latest release from South Central Los Angeles' DUBB. A heartfelt track about the emcee's personal trials and tribulations, the single sports some of Dubb's strongest bars yet as well as a classic Earth, Wind & Fire sample that's appropriately throwback. The outro, meanwhile, is taken from Jesse Jackson's reading of the famous poem "I Am - Somebody" by Reverend William H. Borders, Sr., a senior pastor and civil rights activist from Atlanta, GA.
DUBB's currently working on a new mixtape that'll be released later this year. He'll also be accompanied by Pittsburgh's Devin Miles on AV8ERS Entertainment's upcoming Fly High Tour, which kicks off on June 25th in New York. Check out the dates and purchase tickets here.
