After a lengthy separation fueled by his drug addiction, Storch has now found himself back in the good graces of Dr. Dre.

The recent comeback of production legend Scott Storch has been an inspiring story. His hit streak in the early and mid-'00s came to an end due to his struggles with addiction, which eventually caused his financial ruin. After declaring bankruptcy last summer, Storch vowed to get sober, and a few months later, he managed to score a big placement on Rick RossBlack Market single "Sorry," featuring Chris Brown. He got another credit a few weeks later on the DJ Khaled-hosted "Every Time We Come Around," and earlier this month, he was revealed to be the sole producer on The Game's new single with Jeremih, "All Eyez."

Once again, Storch is ready to be considered among the game's elites, and he's now earned his way back into the good graces of the man with whom he earned his first big hit, 1999's "Still D.R.E." After remaining close friends for many years after their 4x platinum single, Storch's drug problems eventually wrecked his relationship with Dr. Dre, as he has readily admitted in past interviews

Storch has expressed interest in rebuilding his rapport with the Aftermath boss, and it seems that Dre finally agreed to meet with him, as the two are seen with their arms around one another in a new photo shared by Steve Lovel, the former manager of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and a well-known figure in the industry.

"It's a big day in hip-hop," wrote Lovel next to his photo of the two veteran producers. "Reunited and it feels so good."

He ended his caption by writing "stay tuned" and "history repeats itself," which hopefully implies that Storch and Dre have already gotten back in the studio together. A Storch production had been set to appear on Detox, the long-awaited Dre album that never came, so perhaps the Philly producer will get another shot on the follow-up to last year's Compton, if that ever comes out.

UPDATE: Storch shared the same picture to his own Instagram, and he shared that the experience was "one of the best days." He ended the caption by writing, "HISTORY ON REPEAT IN A POSITIVE WAY."
