2014 is shaping up to be a great year for R&B singer Tink. After successful collaborative tracks with Kelela, DJ Dahi and Jeremih, the Chicago songstress has released a track called "Used 2 Know" that was produced by Spaceman. Check it out below.
Premiered by Vogue alongside an interview that somewhat oddly labels Tink "the next Azealia Banks," "Used 2 Know" is some more of the trippy, space age R&B that's shaping up to be Tink's signature sound. As a nice surprise, she throws in some almost-rapped verses, adopting a triplet flow amid her sung choruses.
Stay tuned for more from Tink -- her star is now certifiably on the rise.
Quotable Lyrics:
The day ones are the main ones who will talk down
When you're not around like an enemy
And it's all bad 'cause we go back
And I thought that we was too close for the jealousy
