The Roots just released their new album, ...and then you shoot your cousin, and the group has now released another track from the album for free stream.
"The Dark (Trinity)" is a darkly experimental track, separating each verse with haunting instrumental breaks before launching back into a chugging Questlove-led groove. Dice Raw and Greg Porn also contribute.
The concept album is currently available for purchase on iTunes.
The Philly group will serve as the house band at the upcoming 4th Of July jam featuring performances by Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Ed Sheeran, and Aloe Blacc.

Quotable Lyrics:
Ain't no wilding it ain't no problem
It ain't no question it ain't no beef
Cut that check then things are sweet
I'ma go buy some diamond teeth
I'll be damned if my setback gonna help you get back on your feet
