Young Dolph has generally been a little less visible than his new school Brick Squad contemporaries, Young Thug, Young Scooter, and Peewee Longway, but he's always shown a lot of promise.
It looks as if this may be Dolph's year however, as he just released his high profile mixtape, Cross Country Trappin' last month, and has now given us his new single, which happens to be a newly mastered of one of the tape's highlights, "Not No More". The classic rags-to-riches tale which serves as a great introduction to the rapper for those who haven't dipped into his mixtape work.
The beat comes courtesy of Atlanta heavy hitters Metro Boomin and Lex Luger, who just contributed to the new EP from Low Pros.
Look out for big things from Dolph this year, as well as a new project in the near future.
Quotable Lyrics:
He said he thought that we was boys
Yeah we was nigga
Until I realized that you just another fuck nigga
You can't underand me
'Cause you ain't from where I'm from
Eatin' ramen noodles with a $30,000 watch on my arm
