Mac Miller just dropped his 24 track mixtape Faces, and among stellar guest spots from Earl Sweatshirt, Da$h, Schoolboy Q, Mike Jones, Sir Michael Rocks and Vince Staples, Rick Ross popped up on the tape's "Insomniak."
Despite the perceived differences between Miller and Rozay, the pair are able to turn their collaboration into a thoroughly enjoyable song. Ever the one for cultural references, Mac cops bars from Drake's "Worst Behavior," samples D'angelo's "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" for a hot second, and rhymes Wayne Gretzky with Joe Pesci. Rozay keeps his verse's subject matter well within his comfort zone of getting money, mailing weed and of course, chicken wings.
Can you dig it?
Quotable Lyrics:
Fearless, Jet Li, fourth quarter Gretzky
Take a bitch, Joe Pesci, don't test me
Don't flex if you ain't got shit on me and
You ain't got shit on me, come get it
Jaw full of fresh white, snow bag full of unleaded
I don't get enough credit
