"That Feeling" is the latest release from Connecticut emcee/songwriter OnCue, featuring production from Detroit, Michigan's Chanes. The last time these two collaborated was on Cue's 2012 mixtape Leftovers.
The track samples experimental psychedelic rock group Animal Collective's "My Girls" single, included on their 2009 album Merriweather Post Pavilion, the music video for which you can watch below.
The last we heard of OnCue was the late-April cut "DSFM," a freestyle over Brooklyn electronic duo Ratatat's 2004 single "Cherry," from their eponymous debut album. Listen here.
"That Feeling" won't be included on Cue's upcoming album Angry Young Man, which has been executive produced by Just Blaze. Stay tune for the rollout, and keep up with these two via Twitter in the meantime: @OnCue / @ChChanes.
[The record was mixed by Andy Wright and mastered by Ricardo Gutierrez, by the way.]
