Future just dropped his long-awaited sophomore album, "Honest", so we've decided to highlight one of his earlier cuts in our Throwback feature.
"No Matter What" originally appeared on Future's Astronaut Status mixtape, which was instrumental in gaining hype for the rapper.
"No Matter What" gave us a taste of what was to come as far as Future's ballad work was concerned, foreshadowing tracks like "Turn On The Lights", "Neva End", and "I Be U".
Future also performed "Move That Dope" with Pusha T on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night. Check that out here.
You can grab Future's Honest on iTunes now.
Quotable Lyrics:
We met through a mutual friend
We started clubbing, dranking,
Talking, laughing and grinning
You had your eyes on me the whole time
I could see ya through my lens
Your face your shape and
The lil things about ya…had the kid all in
Anytime we spend time,
We spend more than we spend benjamins
