Chicago rap is going in all different directions. Whether it be through Tink's classic take on R&B, Sicko Mobb's infectious bop ditties, Tree's wounded soul-trap, or Lil Herb and Lil Bibby's lyrics-first drill-- even Chief Keef has found himself in decidedly weirder territory as of late.
Fredo Santana on the other hand, has taken it upon himself to keep the hard-edged, street mantras that Keef made his name off of alive.
Fredo never goes full crooner like Lil Durk, but also keeps his songs much more structured than Keef in his current form.
"Fuck The Other Side" finds the rapper taking aim at a common Chicago rap enemy-- the opps.
Look out for the rapper's upcoming album, Walking Legend, due out later this year.
Quotable lyrics
And it's fucked up in these streets
