Nacho Picasso, Seattle's own stepchild, has blessed his cult following with an intense new single, aptly titled "David Blowie" (adding to his ever-growing list of aliases). Stream it to the left, and make sure to cop it for a dollar via his Bandcamp page if you dig it.
Picasso pays homage to the celebrated musician by flipping his stage name into a coke pun and appropriating his role as the Goblin King in Jim Henson and George Lucas' 1986 fantasy film Labyrinth, which some of you must recall (the single art, handled by Malcolm Byrd, depicts Bowie's character).
The track itself, produced by Nacho's cousin Raised By Wolves, samples "Within You", a song from the film's soundtrack, which was handled by Bowie and South African film composer Trevor Jones. Listen to it below.
Stay tuned for the further adventures of the Tat In The Hat, and follow him on Twitter in the meantime - you won't regret it: @NachoPicasso.
Tarantino movies, I'm Clinton'd out
In an El Torino, I pimped it out
I'm pimpin', pal - got a different style
Got gold fangs, got a different smile
I'm David Blowie, I'm the gifted owl
