FYÜTCH used to go by Future The Artist, placing as a finalist in HNHH's Heatseekers competition, and getting quite a bit of love on the site. This is all before the OTHER Future came around.
On FYÜTCH's new track, "Identity Crisis", he addresses the name issue head on, explaining that he was ready to wait out Future's "one hit wonder" ('Racks'), only to find he was producing hit after hit.
In Nardwuar's new interview with Future, the eccentric investigator actually shouts out FYÜTCH as the originator of the name.
The rapper has a pretty hilarious take on the whole thing, explaining that the name confusion is more awkward than anything, all the while delivering the story in a very catchy and clever manner.
Hopefully the name change will allow him to break through in his own lane.
