In hindsight, it's interesting to look back at Future's 2012 album Pluto, especially framed in the context of his current musical direction. Now, his beats are often dark, minor key trap cuts, but Pluto seems almost optimistic in comparison. If his music is any indicator, Future went through some tough times over the years, which ultimately led to his groundbreaking and influential movement of haunting bangers.
Either way, the Juicy J assisted "I'm Trippin" remains a standout cut off Pluto, while also feeling like a precursor to his eventual sonic change. Future's vocals are raw as hell, void of autotune - you can even hear him inhale as he spits two crazy verses. It's always exciting to track an artist's musical evolution, and while Future clearly still dabbled in drugs during the Pluto era, they didn't permeate his entire aesthetic like on DS2.

Quotable Lyrics
I take off, I blast off, I razzle, I dazzle
Got horses, no saddle, my bitches are badder
With asses that's fatter, you trip and you chatter
I don't even talk, so it don't even matter
How high I get, over verses I spit
I dirty my Sprite, put it down in my kidneys
I'm goin' to space, she wanna come with me
The girls are pretty, the nights are long
