A$AP Ferg found success in the dancehall-channelling single, "Shabba", and on his newest freestyle, he's decided to embrace those roots once again.
"Petit Valley" finds Fergenstein going in over Bunji Garlin’s “Carnival Tabanca”, for a much more melodic side of the islands.
Ferg recently spent time in Petit Valley, in his home country of Trinidad, which likely explains the influence of the track.
The New York rapper has been dropping a steady stream of freestyles over the last few weeks, including takes on popular instrumentals like "Danny Glover", "Man Of The Year" and "OG Bobby Johnson".
Look out for another freestyle from Ferg next week.
