Rome Fortune has an EP with Dun Deal coming out soon, and while this track was initially planned to be included on the project, it's being released early as the beat turned up on Kevin Gates new mixtape, By Any Means.
"Trap Pop" is colorfully arpeggiated and mid-tempo, a good match for Rome's spaced-out flows (as most Dun Deal beats are), and the dynamics of the drums (almost hitting a full-out EDM four-on-the-floor stomp at one point) create a structure for the otherwise linear production.
If you haven't checked it out yet, make sure to grab Rome's most recent project, Beautiful Pimp II.
Quotable lyrics:
Living out a dream
And I'm trying to keep it
Sleeping on benjamins, benjamins
Trying to make the trap pop
