The rap game is definitely a funny thing at times. Trinidad James makes that the topic of his new track, which leaked prematurely online but this is the official version.
Over a hazy instrumental, Trinidad contemplates how the rap game has changed things in life, although he claims not to have changed, he says his friends have. He calls out his haters as well, and at one point says, "sometimes I wish, I never started rapping."
Along with the track, Trinidad revealed his original plan was to get DMX and Lil Boosie as featured artists and to put it on his album, but as he says "thats up in smoke now. Gonna just keep cooking. Everything happens for a reason. Amen."
