While we've already heard most of the bigger tracks off the upcoming Young Money: Rise Of An Empire album, including Drake’s “Trophies”, “We Alright”, "Senile", and Nicki's "Lookin Ass Nigga". One track many fans were anxiously waiting for was Lil Wayne’s solo effort “Moment”, especially after hearing a snippet of it a few days ago.
Well here it is, just in time for the weekend. This track has Weezy celebrating the high life in a darker and slower manner, which shows flashes of his older days when on lean and drugs. I totally fux with it though. I recommend sparkin' one up and letting this play through a few times.
The album arrives on March 11th, and is available for pre-order on iTunes. Check out the tracklist and artwork here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Ain't a moment 'till I make it
It ain't a moment 'till I make it
Have my cake and eat it to, I want a bakery
And see lately all I've been doing is celebratin'
I don't even know what I'm celebratin'
I know why you ain't celebratin'
Cause you ain't selling nathin'
They got niggas catching cases
While we out here catching breaks
