At long last James Harden finally has his own signature sneaker, the Adidas Harden Volume 1. Harden and Adidas revealed the Harden Volume 1 at an event today in Houston, a little over one year since the two agreed to a 13-year $200 million deal.
The Harden Volume 1, which was unveiled in four different colorways, is built on a knit upper accompanied by a leather toe and the beloved full-length booth cushioning. The kicks will reportedly retail for $140 and $160 for those with the primeknit option.
Per the Adidas press release:
"This was my first time creating a shoe from the ground up. With adidas, we wanted to stand for something different, be true to who we are and that's how we separate ourselves," Harden said. "This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and all the work we put in together is what makes this genuine. We're open to each others' opinions and we weren't going to just put shoes on the shelves and say 'This is James Harden.' It's built for how I play and you'll see my style, different moods, the little details and stories that represent who I am."
The black/white "Pioneer" Adidas Harden Vol 1 will make it's debut on December 3rd for $140, and the apparel collection will be arriving this Fall.
