Drake has issued criticism for bringing Pressa on tour as an opening act.

Drake has put a lot of effort into bringing British and North American flavor to his UK shows. However, he's also facing criticism from Toronto police for bringing known hoodlum Pressa as his opening act.

Pressa is technically out on bail. The TDot rapper -- whose real name is Quinton Gardiner -- was arrested for the alleged kidnapping, pistol whipping and torture of two teens. The Toronto Sun contends that the kidnapping led to a gun fight in an elevator of a downtown condo.

Apparently, Gardiner has been granted a "bail variance," allowing him to leave Canada "for work purposes" between February 15 and March 28. The detectives on the case only caught wind of it when someone tipped them out that their suspect was chilling with Drake on social media.

“I find it troubling,” said Inspector Mike Earl. “Here’s a guy (who’s) supposed to be on bail on serious charges. Why is he permitted to leave country and tour with somebody who is a literal mentor to the city’s youth?”

According to Earl, Pressa is one of the leaders of the Young Buck Killas gang in Toronto.
