Drake's "Started From the Bottom" and "Pound Cake" were remixed to death, but one of his more recent singles "The Language" hasn't seen quite as much attention from his rap peers.
Phil Ade has decided to hop on the cut, leaving the Drizzy hook intact while adding a couple new verses. While it's become increasingly trendy to simply mimmick the flows of the original song you're remixing (Drake himself is certainly guilty of this), Phil Ade brings some entirely new ideas to the track, showing once again that the DC rapper is someone to look out for.
Quotable lyrics:
I like nice women, who don't question a lot
Like the old videos, I'm requesting the box
This ain't pop shit, I've invested a lot
Anywhere I go to rap, I'm the best in the spot
Only say facts, you can test what I got
Put the rest of the talks, 'til the feds get to chalk
