Legacy responds to J. Cole's diss towards the New Boyz.

J. Cole recently delivered a compilation mixtape with his Dreamville crew, Revenge Of The Dreamers. The tape contained a track called "Blowin Smoke," and if you've heard it, you may recall he mentions the New Boyz. Well, New Boyz's rapper Legacy hasn't taken to kindly to the shout out, receiving it as a diss, he has responded with a diss of his own. Is this necessary? Unnecessary? We'll let you be the judge. HNHH Premiere.

Cole spit, "Back in the days, I would've hated on the New Boyz / Just saying, cause the radio was just playing / And I heard one of their songs and my nigga sang along / And I'm thinking to myself, damn they came and went / A couple singles but could never be the main event / Without substance, something for them to grab on / Wonder if niggas know they time is short and they won't last long"

Quotable Lyrics

"Corny ass flow nigga, we know you dated / Hating ass rapper, you an Ebro in training / Probably 'cause you made a hit your favorite rapper wasn't proud of / Hov probably felt the same when Mac had a better album / Supposed to leave the game / Falling off was my intention / Just so I could blow up twice and show these hoes it's not a gimmick"
