Terrence Lemont Faison, 20, was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He goes by the stage name King Moe. Being raised in a small town called Mount Olive, North Carolina, Terrence has encountered many struggles and has had and interesting childhood. Life in general for him has been struggles. He has witnessed drug abuse, crime, failure, and pain all by the tender age of 12. This explains the pain in his music. King Moe began writing rhymes at the age of 11 where he fell in love with his craft. Thanks to his childhood mentors “Willie Billz & Biggz da Butcher” he was able to express himself in a more positive manner other than gang banging or selling drugs in the crime infested neighborhood he was living in. Although this is true, even he sometimes gave into the sweet temptation of that urban lifestyle and made a few mistakes of his own, but that’s how he learned to live and grow, by making foolish mistakes. His father "Moses Wells" was a great lyricist from around the way. People even say they sound alike on songs and have the same sense of creativity (I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree eh?). At this point in time I can see him going places with hit singles like “Shotta” (which features fellow North Carolina Artist 100 Cream) and uplifting tracks such as “Devil Is A Lie” I can guarantee you he is going to be legendary but only time will tell. Until then sit back and enjoy the show.
