The Cleveland Indians are patiently waiting to see who their opponent in the World Series will be, but most importantly- who will be chosen to throw out the first pitch before Game 1 of the World Series.
One name that is getting a lot of attention is Wild Thing, better known as Charlie Sheen. In the 1989 movie "Major League" Sheen played the role of Indians pitcher Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn, and he's ready to resurrect that persona if called upon.
Shortly after Cleveland won the ALCS, Sheen tweeted out a photo of Wild Thing with the caption, "Major League continues to be the gift that keeps on giving! If called upon, I'd be honored."
We'll just have to wait and see if the Indians take him up on that offer. Game 1 of the World Series will takes place next Tuesday in Cleveland.
