Chicago rapper Noname, fka Noname Gypsy, has been at the center of the progressive-minded Chicago hip-hop scene ever since she first appeared on Chance the Rapper's "Lost," off 2013's Acid Rap. Noname also contributed to Chance's latest opus, May's Coloring Book, and she has featured on the new projects from buzzing Chicago artists theMIND and Jamila Woods. All this time, though, she still hadn't released a project...until tonight. Noname's Telefone -- a project that was first announced in 2013 -- is finally here.
Noname surprised her fans by sharing the Telefone cover art last night, and the project can now be streamed via her SoundCloud. The 10-track release includes features from Raury, Eryn Allen Kane, theMIND, Saba, and more. The executive producers of Telefone are Noname, Cam O'bi, and Phoelix. Happy listening!
