Preview of what's in store for February.

February is always a major month for sneaker releases as brands like Nike, Jordan and Adidas unveil their Black History Month Collections as well as their All-Star sneakers for the NBA's All-Star weekend. And February 2017 is no different.

Although it's the shortest month of the year, February will be loaded with highly sought after sneaker releases from start to finish, ranging from Nike and Jordan basketball sneakers to Adidas' wildly popular lifestyle selections, including a couple of new Yeezy Boosts.

Narrowing down 10 of the best upcoming sneakers was hard enough but when you factor in Nike and Jordan Brand's 2017 BHM Collection it's damn near impossible.

So before we get into the 10 best sneaker releases of February, let's start by acknowledging Nike's entire Black History Month collection which includes an incredible Kyrie 3, a brand new black and gold Air Jordan 1, and an "Equality" Air Force 1 Hi.

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/4

Retail Price: $190

The upcoming "Royalty" Air Jordan 4 is built on a simple black suede, accompanied by a white midsole and gold accents on the wing clips and jumpman branding, making for one of the smoothest looking Js in recent memory.

Jordan Brand continually churns out new, never before seen colorways for some of their most iconic sneakers and more often than not they're never as good as the OG joints that people grew up with. This upcoming "Royalty" Air Jordan 4 is the exception to that rule though.

And the good news is the "Royalty" 4s will be releasing in sizes for the whole fam this Saturday, February 4th.

The men's will retail for $190, grade school for $140, pre-school and toddler sizes for $80 and $60, respectively.

In edition to the aforementioned Solid Grey "Glitch Camo" NMDs, this Saturday will also see the release of an NMD "Gum Pack."

Keeping it simple, Adidas has grounded both of these wool-blended Primeknit uppers with the timeless gum outsole making for a sneaker that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional in these colder months.

In addition, Adidas will be releasing a similarly styled NMD City Sock "Gum Pack" on the same day as the NMD R1s.

Look for the Adidas NMD "Gum" Collection to hit Adidas dealers this Saturday, February 4th. The NMDs will go for $170 each while the City Socks will retail for $190 a piece.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Black/Red"

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/11

Retail Price: $220

The first Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 release of 2017 will take place on Saturday, February 11th and it will be of the "Bred" variety.

The "Black/Red" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 shown in the gallery will be arriving in a little less than two weeks from now for the standard Yeezy retail price of $220.

Unlike the other Yeezy Boost 350 V2 releases, this pair lacks the contrasting streak across the primeknit upper, instead opting for a monochromatic black look which is only offset by solar red "SPLY 350" text and the stitching on the heel tab.

Sign-ups are currently open through the Adidas Confirmed App- Reservations will begin on February 8th.

Air Jordan 6 "All Star"

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/17

Retail Price: $225

The unique pair of "All Star" Air Jordan 6s emit a shimmering forest green vibe though as the name suggest, that could appear very different depending on how the light hits the sneakers.

Adding even more intrigue to this pair of Air Jordan 6s is the glistening translucent midsole, 3M detailing and the peculiar hexagon surrounding the Jumpman on the heel.

This chameleon-like colorway definitely strays from your traditional Air Jordan 6 design, although the way Jordan Brand has been pumping out never before seen colorways lately, nothing surprises us anymore.

The unique pair of 6s will be hitting retailers prior to the NBA All-Star Weekend, on Friday, February 17th for the retail price of $225.

Air Jordan 12 "OVO"

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/18

Retail Price: $225

The all-black version of Drake's "OVO" Air Jordan 12 will finally be releasing on February 18th, right in the middle of the NBA's All-Star weekend.

The premium nubuck Air Jordan 12s, featuring stingray leather accents and OVO branding, will reportedly retail for $225 according to J23App.

The white and gold rendition of the "OVO" Air Jordan 12 released last October and it featured a line of apparel as well some "OVO" Jordan slides and an OVO backpack. We expect some similar gear to accompany the black, stingray laden 12s when they launch for NBA All-Star, although at this time nothing has been confirmed.

Of course, availability will be sparse which will only add to the hype surrounding this upcoming All-Star release.

Air Jordan 13 "Chicago"

Retail Price: $190

The classic Air Jordan 13 OG dressed in "White/Black– True Red– Pearl Grey" will be making a return to retailers on February 18th, this time with the "Chicago" moniker.

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/25

Retail Price: $220

February is shaping up to be a big month for Kanye West and Adidas- not only will the brand be releasing a new "Bred" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 but they'll also be dropping the much anticipated Zebra-striped pair.

According to the reliable @TheYeezyMafia, the white, black and red Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will be hitting retailers on February 25th, just two weeks after the aforementioned "Bred" pair.

Similar to the upcoming black/red joint, this Zebra pair features the return of the pull tab on the heel which was present on the first run of Yeezy Boost 350s, but absent on the previous Yeezy Boost 350 V2 releases.

Air Jordan 12 Low "Playoff"

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/25

Retail Price: $170

One of the most beloved Air Jordan 12s is the clean "Playoff" rendition which features a predominately blacked out leather upper supported by a white midsole and some varsity red accents.

Unfortunately, Jordan Brand doesn't currently have any plans to bring back that iconic pair of 12s... but they are giving us a low top version.

The "Playoff" Air Jordan 12 Low will reportedly be hitting retailers on February 25th and today we have a look at what to expect. Thankfully, the kicks look identical to the aforementioned pair, just in low-top form.

While many sneakerheads patiently wait for Jordan Brand to bring back the "Playoff" Air Jordan 12, this low-top joint will have to suffice. Men's pairs will retail for $170, grade school sizes will be priced at $130.

Air Jordan 8 "Alternate"

Top 10 February Sneaker Releases

Release Date: 2/25

Retail Price: $190

Among the many brand new Air Jordan sneakers releasing in 2017 is this recently revealed "Alternate" Air Jordan 8 which is an updated version of the "Bugs Bunny" colorway which originally dropped in 1993.

While this "Alternate" pair is obviously inspired by the Bugs Bunny joints there are some noticeable differences including the lack of light grey on the all-white upper, perforations on the criss-crossing straps and a graphic print on the inner lining. Additionally, the upcoming "Alternate" 8s feature "1993" on the heel tab.

The kicks will reportedly arrive on February 25th for the retail price of $190. Take a look at the official images in the gallery above, as opposed to the original "Bugs Bunny" Air Jordan 8 shown below.
