Last May, HNHH launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now.
The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop and R&B.
If you look past the Migos juggernaut, January was a bit of a dry month as far as big rap releases -- which has made some room in the spotlight for talented up-and-coming artists like Jonah Cruzz, Wifisfuneral, Matt Martians, all of whom have just released superb projects.
