Self-described "Chicago's hated" rapper Vic Spencer returns with his "St. Gregory" album.

Vic Spencer's rapping is as cold as it gets. Within Chicago's scene for ten years now, Vic bills himself as something of a lone wolf, and his confrontational, take-no-prisoners style of writing supports it. On the second track of his new album, St. Gregory, he describes himself as "Chicago's hated," but he seems happy to play the villain role within his city, an ethos that has seen him beefing with other rappers within the region like Mick Jenkins, with whom he exchanged diss tracks last year.

Spencer's highly technical rhymes and experimental ear for production recall the work of Sean Price. Most of the songs on his 20-track project are over within 2 minutes, and that urgency plays to his strengths. It's proof that however unconventional, Spencer has found his lane within Chicago rap. You can listen the project in full below. Check out his recent single that was not included on the project "Love For Vic" here.
