Big Sean will be returning to his hometown of Detroit to serve as principle for the day at Lincoln High School.
AllHipHop.Com reports that on Monday, May 14th, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper will be principle for the day as a reward to Lincoln High students, who increased their attendance by 8.56% as part of the "Get Schooled" campaign.
Big Sean spoke on the 'event' saying, "Showing up to school, all day, every day, is one of the most important things students can do to reach their educational goals and to go on to success later in life," said Big Sean. "I am so proud of my hometown of Detroit for tackling attendance issues head on and I am so excited to celebrate the achievements of the students who worked so hard throughout the attendance challenge."
The "Get Schooled" campaign ran from February 13th to April 27th and was created in order to help increase attendance rates at 17 Metro Detroit high schools.
While principle for the day, Big Sean will visit classes and co-teach. He will also attend an assembly with the students, which will be hosted by Shade 45's Sway Calloway and Coco of FM 98 WJLB.
