Antonio Brown is going to continue the trend of wearing special edition cleats during pre-game warmups this weekend. The Steelers stud wide receiver has previously paid tribute to Muhammad Ali and Arnold Palmer with custom made Nike spikes and now he has plans to honor two more athletes who passed away this year.
Enlisting the help of his long time friend and go-to customizer Corey Pane, AB had his low-top Nike cleats decked out with images of the Marlins' Jose Fernandez and Kimbo Slice. Both of those men have strong ties to the Miami community, which is where Brown grew up, and with the Steelers traveling South to take on the Dolphins this Sunday these custom cleats are a perfect tribute.
Of course, Brown will be fined or even forced to sit out if he wears these custom cleats during the game but he'll definitely be lacing them up for pre-game warmups.
