Fast-rising R&B duo They. are back today with another video off their latest album Nü Religion: HYENA. After hitting us with “What You Want” & “Back It Up” already, the duo consisting of Dante and Drew decide to return to the scene today & share the official video for their track “Deep End,” which depending on your boss is probably NSFW.
Directed by Ze’ev Waismann, the dark & haunting new visual finds the duo taking a late night ride in their convertible, while flashes of them getting intimate & sensual with a lady appears throughout it.
"We wanted to capture the feelings you get from listening to the song from a stylistic standpoint with the vintage leather and the vintage muscle car," the duo said in a statement. “Beyond that, the comparison of the wolf and the female is the most important -- the wolf disguised as a woman is a representation of the vices of the weekend.”
"Being that close to the wolf was pretty surreal," Dante said about the ending of the video when the wolf appears. "We filmed all night until he woke up around 4am. Next thing you know, we are jumping around in front of a 200-pound wolf while they throw little chunks of meat every 30 seconds to keep him distracted. It was amazing.”
