Wasting no time after the surprise delivery of his Project Baby 2 album, Kodak Black returned with a video in support of the project in the form of “Transportin.”
It seems that young Kodak has been hard at work as he also decided to drop off the visuals for another track “Fuck It,” which doesn’t even appear on the new release.
While it’s an odd move, we’re certainly not questiong the South Florida artist's work ethic. In recent times he hasn’t failed at landing in headlines for his controversial comments, almost always broadcast on his medium of choice through his Instagram Live feed. While he’s turned heads for his comments on dark-skinned black women, and most recently his accusations of former mentor Master P trying to charge him for mentorship, his recent Project Baby 2 drop proved that he was also polishing his craft all the while.
The “Transportin” video was directed by Yung Mik3 and Wavy Lord of Sniper Gang Films, and the music video for “Fuck It” also arrives courtesy of one-half of the duo as Wavy Lord lends his hand as co-director alongside Kodak. Similar to the clip for “Transportin,” the young rapper continues to include a fluid element of red and orange highlights throughout the video, rocking clothing with corresponding hues and rocking Louboutins in an orange tinted studio as he casually bops alongside his crew as only Kodak can.
No word yet on whether this new “Fuck It” single will signal another full-length drop on the heels of Kodak Black’s 19-song long Project Baby 2, but we’ll certainly be on the lookout for new visuals.
While he’s got his fair share of critics, Kodak’s dedication to his music is clear and a slew of new drops in the coming future wouldn’t be out of the ordinary at this point.
