If you’re still sleeping on them, Warm Brew is a fast-rising LA trio consisting of Ray Wright, Manu Li, and Serk Spliff, who’ve been focusing on bringing the good ole Cali vibes with their music. Coming off the release a new single with Dom Kennedy last month called “Full Effect,” the trio decide to return to the scene today & shares its official video.
Warm Brew says the “first time we played the record for Dom, he was instantly trying to hop on it, and of course, we were down. It’s always dope creating with somebody who's helped you progress to where you are in your career. The record just gives you this smooth throwback feeling in a fresh and present way.”
Serk Spliff, one of the members, also added: “The song is on some player shit. The song is a vibe. It's an ode to generations past present and future and it reminds me of something my uncle would've showed me so I want to show my nephew.”
From riding in the lowrider down the block to popping bottles inside the bathtub and enjoying the warm sunny California sun, the trio deliver some chill, laid-back backyard BBQ music for you to finish the Summer out with.
It’s unclear at the moment on where this record will end up, but hopefully there’s more to follow or better yet a project for that matter. Check out the GoodbyeShady directed clip (above) & be sure to share your thoughts in the comments.
