Your Old Droog dropped his Packs album earlier in March to critical acclaim which included features from Danny Brown and Wiki among others. Another feature that was on the tape was Heems from Das Racist. The track was a stand-out of the album. The two being from New York City made a crazy dope joint with "Bangladesh" which showcased some great chemistry from the two emcees. Now, the stand-out track gets a very dope visual to go along with it. Shot in New York, the video follows the two rappers grabbing dinner and drinks as well as hanging out in alley-ways.
The video maintains a level of minimalism in the way it was shot. While it doesn't have anything crazy done in post-production, it still very effective. The angles bring a feeling of NYC in the summer time, kickin' back and coolin' out on front porches and alley-ways.
Both Heems and Your Old Droog have been bumping out some really good music. While Heems old group Das Racist, is no longer active, Heems is working with Riz MC and producer, Redhino as Swet Shop Boys. The group released the Suri La EP earlier this year.
Your Old Droog put out his album earlier this year and is continuing to push it forward. With the release of "Bangladesh" video, it serves as the second track on the album to receive a visual.
