After Rexx Life Raj teamed up with producer Kyle Betty to create the bouncy "Radio," it'd be director Marco Alexander's turn to flip some visuals and he certainly gets the job done.
As its title may imply, "Radio" is a relaxed cut that Raj uses as a friendly reminder to stay true to oneself, alluding to industry pressure to create radio-friendly tracks in lieu of artistry.
“Sometimes when I write I feel a certain pressure to try to make a ‘radio’ type song or something for the club,” Raj tells Mass Appeal of the track and new video. “This might not be a track that they’ll play at radio stations but it doesn’t matter because things are still taking off.
"The music reaches more and more people daily, my following is growing, etc," he adds. "Everything is working exactly how it’s supposed to. That’s the message I wanted to convey through the song and video.”
