Tee Grizzley is repping Detroit's riot victims in the powerful new visuals for his track "Teetroit," a new single that will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming film Detroit, which opens in wide release in North American theaters on August 4th.
Featuring lip-synching performances from several of those who participated in the infamous late-1960's 12th Street Riot, a historical event that is the subject of the aforementioned film, Grizzley's rhymes about living and being able to persevere through struggle are able to pack a real emotional punch. Alternating between black-and-white and color footage, the music video should be a good first taste of what to expect from this important film.
