Lin-Manuel Miranda went on the TODAY show this morning to premiere the music video for "Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)," a standout from last year's star-studded Hamilton Mixtape.
"Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)" features Snow Tha Product, K'naan, Residente & Riz MC, whose families respectively hail from Mexico, Somalia, Puerto Rico, and Pakistan. The six-minute video shares the perspective of immigrant families forced to confront the horrors of Trump's America head-on.
With 187,000 first-week sales, The Hamilton Mixtape was one of the most commercially successful hip hop releases of 2016. Listen here.
