Russ is definitely a self-made rap artist, and his new video for "MVP" showcases that. A grainy, 90's-VHS style filter on the visuals accentuates the down-to-earth feel of the content, with Russ rapping while surrounded by a handful of close friends. It seems like there's just so much realness in Russ' style that you can't help but be drawn to it.
After independently hustling it for multiple years, Russ' debut album, There’s Really a Wolf, has garnered much love from both fans and critics, as well as fit a nice niche for Colombia Records. He's currently on tour to support that album I'm sure he's already feeling like an MVP.
