Remembering one of rap's fallen soldiers.

In hip-hop discourse, whenever people discuss the deceased, the two most dominant names are Pac and Big. And while they are undeniably legends in the game, there is one rapper who so often ends up forgotten - Big L. Before he died at the early age of 24, L was establishing himself as a lyrical God, destroying freestyles and old-school, gully instrumentals with his dexterous flow and multisyllabic expertise.

With a style that has influenced a generation of emcees, including Eminem, Redman, & Nas, Big L's presence continues to be felt. Catch up with our video above, and share some of your favorite Big L tracks and lyrics below. Were he still alive, today would have been his birthday. Rest in peace.
