In the first part of our sit-down with Warner Bros-signed rapper Sahbabii (watch right below), the Chicago transplant spoke about the impending re-release and re-mastering of his break-out project, SANDAS, as well as some of the new opportunities (such as a possible reality TV show with Mona Scott-Young) that have been presented to him since going viral, as well as his experiences pre-internet fame.
In part two, we continued to talk to Sah about a few of his more notable co-signs-- Playboi Carti recently played Sah during his Rolling Loud set, earning a shout out from the rapper on twitter. Meanwhile, Wiz remixed his popular song, and of course, there have been rumors of a Drake remix but no signs of it yet (if there is one rapper who won't be giving Sah is co-sign, it appears to be Offset of Migos). Finally, Sahbabii talks about getting to hit the studio with the fabled Young Thug.
"Working in the studio with Young Thug, man, Thug, he a melodic person too. He get his melody down, he just flow on it. He get it done quick. I think he love the studio man. It felt great working in the studio with Thug," Sahbabii says, before mentioning some of the celebrities that are putting "Pull Up Wit Ah Stick" on -- Kylie Jenner, Keke Palmer and more. "It make me appreciate my work and wanna go harder," he says of the celebrities that are tuned on.
We close out this part by finding out some of the records currently in Sahbabii's rotation-- Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE.," Future's "Mask Off," Post Malone's "Congratulations" and Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles"-- how's that mini playlist sound to you?
