Teyana Taylor Says New Album Could Be Out This Summer

Teyana Taylor chops it up with our host Baker for an exclusive interview.

Since giving birth to her daughter with Iman Shumpert back in December, Teyana Taylor hasn't released too much music, although she did get her bikini bod back real quick. However she's getting back into the swing of things, and after a recent show in D.C., she sat down with Baker to discuss the baby, her last project, as well as what's coming up.

In August of last year Teyana followed up her debut album VII with TheCassette Tape 1994. Baker and the singer reflect on that particular mixtape, although later on, Teyana promises fans she's working on a new music, and to expect a new album as soon as the summer. "We're already recording on my days off, we're just recording," Teyana says, "I already made them wait long enough, so it's time to just keep the music going, going, going, hopefully we have an album out by the summertime."
