In celebration of the Warriors' record-breaking 73-9 season, Under Armour dropped this Golden State themed Curry 2.5 and we had to put it to the test. Of course, haters will say this video is photoshopped but the tape don't lie.

All jokes aside, the Under Armour Curry 2.5 "73-9" is a comfortable, lightweight basketball sneaker that offers the best ankle support I've ever felt in a basketball shoe. Given Stephen Curry's history with ankle injuries, this is probably what you'd expect from his signature sneaker but it's really worth mentioning just how much you notice the tremendous ankle support.

The Charged Foam cushioning is extremely responsive as well which is ideal for smaller, quicker players who are constantly making lateral cuts and relying on a burst. Again, the Curry 2.5 is truly tailored to Steph Curry's game right down to the sole.

Now are these the most aesthetically pleasing sneakers of all time? Not by a long shot. I personally would've liked to see a nod to the "73-9" record, although it's not a total game changer either way.

The bottom line, if you're more interested in the performance aspect of your basketball sneakers, rather than how good they'd look with a pair of joggers, you really can't go wrong with the Curry 2.5.

The sneakers are readily available now at all major retailers $135 in a number of different colors including the "73-9" pair that I reviewed.
And if you were searching for a lengthy video filled with technical mumbo jumbo and a million boring facts about the shoe, I apologize but you're out of luck.
