New Jersey doesn't have the deep-rooted history in rap that New York does, but by proximity alone, the big apple was bound to rub off on it's close relative some day. Most recently, we've seen the rise of Fetty Wap, whose record, "Trap Queen" is the biggest pure rap breakout hit since Bobby Shmurda's rise. New Jersey's time in the spotlight is just beginning though, with more and more rappers coming out of the woodwork every day.
Peety YaMean is one of the those emcees, and his new video for "Student Cashlete" frames his hustle as a study, filming the majority of the video at a high school, as he makes often hilarious parallels between school and his grind.
